In the Prismacolor Landscape Set series, I give form to the transformation of a single colored pencil as it performs its intended task as an object. I systematically document and count every line I draw which provides acknowledgement to each gesture of labor that the material and I make. I display the pencil shavings and the remains of the colored pencil with the drawing as a byproduct to the work of making. I reveal the hidden consequences of labor and give a platform to the tools and the individual units of labor that when combined, comprise a completed project.
